Anne Smith has been a gardener for over 30 years. Based in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, she has undertaken a wide range of Garden Design projects throughout Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. These include Southwell, The Park Nottingham, Retford and Caythorpe, (Nottingham). These include the design and construction of a variety of gardens from large rural gardens, expansive urban gardens, courtyard gardens to compact town gardens.
In all these projects Anne is involved from the design stage, sourcing of materials, construction of the hard and soft landscaping, project management and finally assessing the garden before handing it over to the client.
Originally, a science teacher, Anne retrained at NTU for a degree in Garden Design. As a student, she worked for Nottingham in Bloom. Anne graduated in 2007 and combined her private practice with a position on Marshall’s Design Team. In 2009, Anne produced a new package on “Open Space Design". This has had a good response with local authorities in Nottinghamshire.
